Speaker Bio:
Mariah Willis Strong is a native of Odessa, TX. She is a graduate of Odessa High School and West Texas A & M University in Canyon, TX where she was a student athlete while earning a Bachelors Degree in Communication Disorders. She continued her education at WTAMU earning a Masters degree in Communication Disorder as well.
Mariah was licensed (2014) and ordained (2017) through Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies while serving at The Potter’s House in Dallas, Texas. She currently resides within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Mariah works within the community as a Speech Pathologist and recently completed her 8th year as a chaplain who serves the Women’s Nation Basketball Association (WNBA).
Mariah's experiences in life have allowed her to hold strong to the testimony that "God is Faithful"! Whether it was, not "fitting in" in her formative educational years, to the challenges that come with being a scholarship student athlete in college, to more recently trusting God to navigate her through challenging journeys of life, God has been faithful and has kept her through it all.
Mariah is the very proud "Mommie" to her busy and loving two year old son. Through him, she sees the hand of God teaching her how to raise and nurture him. He is truly a blessing and a witness to God's faithfulness.
